The Gift of Giving Handmade

So many beautiful handmade things on Etsy by wonderfully talented people.  If you have not yet checked out Etsy, why not take a few minutes to look around.  There is something for everyone on your shopping list this year!  Here are just a few that are my favorites:

Christen Largent of bddesigns:   She creates custom art keepsake jewelry using traditional metalsmithing  techniques (a craft I much admire!) I fell in love with one of her pieces. I have a keepsake of my very own!

Her one of a kind jewelry is beautifully crafted; inspiration from her family and nature.

Lynda of LBArtworks creates and designs these one of a kind purses.  Each purse is beautifully hand crafted and inspired by nature.  I have a difficult time picking out just one purse – one for every season!  All of her work is lovely.

Jenn Gridley of MyOlyGirl creates unique fashion pieces by recycling beautiful fabric! Not only does she make these adorable stockings, she makes other fantastic one of a kind pieces:  sweater skirts, petticoat slips and upcycled quilts!

These adorable upcycled stockings made from felted wool sweaters caught my eye!

While shopping this year, why not take some time to check out the artisans on Etsy  who love their craft and are eager to share with you!

Just be sure to check out who you are buying from if you truly want to support handmade! Etsy has changed their policy…but that is for you to decide.
